A We went hiking this morning but the weather wasn't great. We walked through the woods and up the hill. We made a camp fire at the top and try to send smoke signals to camp, but it started to rain! When we ² are getting back to the camp we were all really wet. B It's raining now, and I'm in my tent with Jack and Alex. 1. "try" changed to "tried."
2. "are" changed to "were."

Paragraph A is about the past.

B It's raining now, and I'm in my tent with Jack and Alex. Jack reads a book that's all about sign language (there's a camp class on it tomorrow). Alex is fixing his mountain bike outside. Mistake corrected:

3. "who's" changed to "that's."

Paragraph B is about the present.

C Alex has gone mountain biking today. I might go with him. Mistakes corrected:
