У англичан есть 4 типа использования FS после if. (у англичан это называется - zero, first, second, third conditional)

1. You will never finish your work if you waste your time like that. (First Conditional) (После if нет will, время: future simple (первый тип, естественно)

2. If I had his telephone number, I should easily settle this matter with him. (Если бы я имел (had), это в will 2 тип использования will после if), тут ещё возможно I would (так правильнее), но тут стоит should. (Second Conditional)

3. If it rains tomorrow, our game will be cancelled. (First Conditional) (Present Simple после If it, т.к это первый тип)

4. If a dog bit in her leg, she would go straight to hospital. (Second Conditional)

5. If he had known it was going to rain, he would have taken his umbrella to work today. (Third Conditional) (3 тип это was/were+would).
