The Last Warrior: Root of Evil

Not so long ago I saw a new Russian fantasy comedy film called "The Last Warrior: Root of Evil" ("Последний богатырь: Корень зла"). This film was made in 2021 and it is a sequel to the 2017's The Last Warrior.
The film was directed by Dmitry Dyachenko. It stars Viktor Khorinyak, Mila Sivatskaya, Ekaterina Vilkova, Elena Yakovleva, Konstantin Lavronenko, and many other famous actors.

It is a story about two worlds - our modern life and the life in Belogorie - the world of Russian fairy-tales and legends. The main character, Ivan Naydenov, who is called the Last Warrior, or Bogatyr in Russian, discovers the origin of the ancient evil that threatens Belogorie. Ivan has to take part in an epic battle shoulder to shoulder with some folk heroes.

I like everything about the film - the acting is really great and the plot is very interesting. There are a lot of funny jokes and references to fairy-tales.

Generally, it is a film that I would recommend to both adults and children.

Не так давно я посмотрел(а) новую российскую комедию в жанре фэнтези "Последний богатырь: Корень зла". Этот фильм был снят в 2021 году и является продолжением фильма «Последний богатырь» 2017 года.

Режиссером фильма стал Дмитрий Дьяченко. В ролях Виктор Хориняк, Мила Сивацкая, Екатерина Вилкова, Елена Яковлева, Константин Лавроненко и многие другие известные актеры.

Это история о двух мирах - нашей современной жизни и жизни в Белогорье - мире русских сказок и легенд. Главный герой, Иван Найденов, которого называют Последним богатырем, узнает о происхождении древнего зла, угрожающего Белогорью. Ивану предстоит принять участие в эпической битве плечом к плечу с фольклорными героями.

Мне в фильме нравится всё: актерская игра действительно великолепна, и сюжет очень интересный. Много смешных шуток и отсылок к сказкам.

В общем, это фильм, который я бы порекомендовал(а) и взрослым, и детям.
