How I spent last summer

I think summer is the best season of all because it is warm, the nature is beautiful and we have great opportunities for rest. Summer is a time of holidays. We can go anywhere, spend our time near a river or a lake on fresh, green grass, swim in warm water, or climb mountains, play different games, ride a bicycle and so on.

I spend my summer holidays at my granny’s. There are many things there to do. What I did most of the time - I swam in the sea and sunbathed. Sometimes I made a fire with my friends at the seaside and cooked potatoes there. It was wonderful. We told anecdotes to each other, and did everything we wanted. I also got used to walk alone in the forest.

Я думаю, лето - самое лучшее время года, потому что тепло, вокруг очень красиво и у нас есть чудесная возможность отдохнуть. Лето - время отпусков и каникул. Мы можем поехать куда угодно, проводить время у реки или озера на свежей зеленой траве, плавать в теплой воде, или подняться в горы, или играть в различные игры, кататься на велосипеде и т. д.

Я провожу летние каникулы у моей бабули. Там есть чем заняться. Большую часть времени я плавал в море и загорал. Иногда я разжигал с друзьями костер на берегу и мы пекли в нем картошку. Это было замечательно. Мы рассказывали друг другу анекдоты, и делали все, что хотели. А еще я часто ходил один в лес.

Once upon a time, in a small village tucked away in the mountains, there lived a young girl named Lily. Lily was known throughout the village for her kind heart and gentle spirit, but what she was most famous for was her love for adventure.

Lily had always been fascinated by the mountains that surrounded her village. She would often climb to the top of the tallest peak and look out at the breathtaking view. But one day, she decided that she wanted to explore the mountains more thoroughly.

She packed a small bag with food, water, and a few essential items, and set out early in the morning. She didn't have a specific destination in mind, but she knew that she wanted to see what lay beyond the mountains.

As she walked, she encountered all sorts of creatures, from timid rabbits to fierce wolves. But Lily was not afraid. She greeted each animal with a smile and a friendly word, and they all seemed to sense her gentle nature.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, and still Lily wandered through the mountains. She saw things that she had never seen before, like sparkling rivers and fields of wildflowers. And she met people from all walks of life, each with their own stories to tell.

But as much as she enjoyed her adventure, Lily began to feel a tug in her heart. She missed her family and friends back in the village, and she longed for the comfort of her own bed.

So one day, Lily turned around and started making her way back to the village. It took her several days, but eventually she saw the familiar sight of her home nestled in the mountains.

As she entered the village, she was greeted with cheers and applause. Her family and friends were overjoyed to see her, and they eagerly listened as she regaled them with tales of her adventure.

From that day on, Lily was known not only for her kind heart and gentle spirit but also for her adventurous spirit. And whenever anyone in the village needed a little bit of courage, they would think of Lily and her incredible journey through the mountains.
