Once upon a time, there was a dog named Max. Max was a golden retriever and had a beautiful coat of golden fur that shone in the sun. He lived with his owner, Sarah, in a small house in the countryside.

Max was a very friendly and playful dog. He loved to go for walks with Sarah and play fetch in the park. He also enjoyed chasing squirrels and rabbits in the fields nearby. Sarah loved Max very much and took great care of him. She would always make sure he had plenty of food, water, and toys to play with.

One day, Sarah had to go away for a few days on a business trip. She asked her neighbor, John, to take care of Max while she was away. John was happy to help and agreed to look after Max.

At first, Max was a little nervous being in a new place without Sarah, but John was very kind to him and soon they became good friends. John took Max for long walks in the countryside and played fetch with him in the garden.

On the second day of Sarah's trip, Max and John went for a walk in the woods. Max was having a great time sniffing around when suddenly he caught the scent of something unusual. From that day on, Max and John became the best of friends. Max would always wag his tail when he saw John and John would give him a treat. Sarah was happy too because she knew that Max was loved and well taken care of, even when she couldn't be there with him.
