It was 5 in the morning and there was a knock at the door. In a second I was near the door and listened somebody's voice. It was not loud, but I heard it quite well. I half opened the door and saw a little girl in tears. She was poorly clad. She asked me to help her and to give her a little piece of bread because she hadn't eaten anything for a long time. The girl's name was Alice. I let het come in, she washed her face and told me her sorrow story. She had lived in an orphanage since her birth. Life was very hard in an orphanage. Children had nothing there exept bread. But some days ago they were given nothing to eat. So Alice leaft the orphanage and walked without purpose. I was very glad to help her.
