At the moment I’m sitting at the desk doing my English task.  I should answer some questions.

Of course, I would rather be somewhere in a foreign country now, at the sea-side. For example, in Australia…

Why? Because it’s very cold and windy in winter in Russia but it’s warm and sunny in many other countries now.

If I were in Australia in January I could swim in the ocean.

I would stay in a hotel.  I am sure I would see a lot of amazing birds and animals there. I would eat unusual food there, make new friends and would practice my English. That’s why I think it’s the one place I’d like to visit before I die.

Story: Getting Lost

It happened during my summer vacation in the dense forests of a remote mountain range. I decided to explore the untouched beauty of nature and ventured deep into the woods. The tranquility of the surroundings was captivating, but soon I realized I had lost my way. Panic surged through me as I realized the gravity of the situation.

As hours turned into what felt like an eternity, fear and anxiety gripped me. The dense foliage blocked the sun, making it even harder to navigate. Every step I took seemed to lead me deeper into the unknown.

Just when I thought all hope was lost, I stumbled upon a small clearing with a faint trail. With renewed determination, I followed it and eventually found my way back to civilization. Relief washed over me, and I felt a sense of gratitude for my safe return.

At the moment, I am engrossed in my studies, preparing for an upcoming exam. However, I would rather be on a tropical beach, basking in the warm sunlight and feeling the soft sand beneath my feet. The serene sound of waves crashing against the shore would be a soothing melody to my ears.

If I were there, I would spend my time swimming in the crystal-clear waters, exploring vibrant coral reefs, and relaxing under the shade of palm trees. To make the experience more memorable, I would choose to stay in a cozy beachfront villa, indulging in the breathtaking ocean views.

Before I die, the one place I would love to visit is the ancient city of Machu Picchu in Peru. The mystical ruins nestled amidst the Andes Mountains have always fascinated me. I long to witness the awe-inspiring architecture and immerse myself in the rich history and culture of the Incas. It would be a journey that combines adventure, exploration, and a deep appreciation for the wonders of the world.
