He said: "I live in Leningrad." 9. He said to me: "Where do you live?" 10. He said to me: "Be in time!"

Answer 1

 1. He said: "The sea is stormy."- He said that the sea was stormy.

 2. I said to my friend: "Did you have your sailing practice in summer?"- I asked my friends if they had their sailing practice in summer.

 3. He said to me: "Our ship is leaving at 6 p. m." - He said that their ship was leaving at 6 p.m.

4. The passengers said to the captain: "When do we arrive in London?"- The passengers asked the captain   when they  arrived to London.

5. The captain said to the chief mate: "Send the boatswain to my cabin."- The captain orded the chief mate to send the boatswain to his cabin

 6. The second mate said to the dockers: "Don't smoke in the holds."-The second mate said to the dockers not to smoke in the holds. 

 7. The sailors said to me: "Have you ever been to sea?" -The sailors asked me if I had ever been to sea.

 8. He said: "I live in Leningrad." -He said that he lived in Leningrad.

 9. He said to me: "Where do you live?" - He asked  me where I lived.

 10. He said to me: "Be in time!"-He told me to be in time.

3. He informed me that their ship was leaving at 6 p.m.
4. The passengers asked the captain when they would arrive in London.

8. He stated that he lived in Leningrad.
9. He asked me where I lived.
10. He advised me to be in time.
