Почему глюкозу называют главным продуктом фотосинтеза, а водород побочным?

Ответы на вопрос

А водород побочный-т.к. он входит в саму глюкозу.

Why glucose is considered the primary product of photosynthesis while oxygen is a byproduct
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, algae and some bacteria use sunlight, carbon dioxide and water to produce glucose (sugar) and oxygen. There are two main stages in photosynthesis - the light-dependent reactions and the light-independent reactions or Calvin cycle.
The light-dependent reactions use energy from sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and high-energy electrons. These electrons are used to produce ATP (adenosine triphosphate) and NADPH (reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate), which provide energy for the Calvin cycle. This stage produces oxygen as a byproduct.
The Calvin cycle uses the ATP and NADPH produced in the light-dependent reactions to convert carbon dioxide into glucose. Glucose is considered the primary product of photosynthesis because it is used by the plant as an energy storage molecule and as a building block to produce other organic compounds like starch, cellulose and proteins. Without glucose production, the plant would not be able to grow.
While oxygen is released in the light-dependent reactions of photosynthesis, it is not directly used by the plant itself. Oxygen production is simply a consequence of the light-dependent reactions splitting water to produce electrons for ATP and NADPH generation. So glucose is the primary product that plants directly use for growth and metabolism, making it the major product of photosynthesis, while oxygen is released as a byproduct of the light reactions.
