Hi,
Во-первых у подземных растений прорастают семена в почву, тем самым семядоли(плод) не выходит наружу почвы(земли), они просто остаются под землёй , как то так)
Пример растений : горох,чечевица,дуб,фасоль.

Plants with Underground Seed Germination

There are several plants that exhibit underground seed germination. Here are some examples:

1. Orchids: Orchids are known for their unique method of seed germination. The seeds of orchids are extremely tiny and lack endosperm, which is the nutrient-rich tissue found in most seeds. Instead, orchid seeds rely on a symbiotic relationship with mycorrhizal fungi to germinate. The fungi provide the necessary nutrients for the seed to grow, and in return, the orchid provides the fungi with sugars produced through photosynthesis.

2. Trillium: Trillium is a genus of flowering plants that also undergoes underground seed germination. The seeds of trillium have a fleshy structure called an elaiosome, which attracts ants. The ants carry the seeds to their nests, where they consume the elaiosome. The seeds are then left in the ant nest, where they can germinate in a protected environment.

3. Spring Beauty: Spring beauty (Claytonia virginica) is a wildflower that exhibits underground seed germination. The seeds of spring beauty have a specialized structure called a tuber. The tuber is an underground storage organ that allows the plant to survive harsh conditions and emerge in the following growing season. The seeds germinate underground and develop into new plants.

4. Bloodroot: Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis) is another plant that undergoes underground seed germination. The seeds of bloodroot have a hard outer coat that needs to be scarified or broken down before germination can occur. This scarification process often happens naturally through the actions of soil organisms or exposure to freezing and thawing cycles. Once scarified, the seeds germinate underground and give rise to new bloodroot plants.

5. Dutchman's Breeches: Dutchman's breeches (Dicentra cucullaria) is a spring ephemeral plant that exhibits underground seed germination. The seeds of Dutchman's breeches have a hard seed coat that requires a period of cold stratification to break dormancy. After the cold stratification period, the seeds germinate underground and produce new plants.

These are just a few examples of plants that undergo underground seed germination. Each plant has its own unique adaptations and strategies for successful germination.
