И Саламандры,и ящерицы пользуются большой популярности в качеств домашних животных, особенно среди подростков. И те и другие могут быть очаровательными и интересными питомцами но не все понимают чем они отличаются от друг друга. Некоторые виды саламандр и ящериц действительно очень похожи друг на друга. И те и другие относятся к холоднокровным животным ( температура их тела зависит от окружающей среды). Но есть между ними существенные различия.
Все саламандры-амфибии. Они дышат с помощью жабр,либо через кожу. Амфибии много времени проводят в пресной воде;там же и размножаются. Все ящерицы-рептилии-они дышат с помощью легких и живут на суше;там же и размножаются
Будучи амфибиями саламандры нуждаются во влажной среде и обычно живут рядом с водоемом. Чаще всего в природе саламандр можно встретить в темных влажных местах,например,у камней или под листьями рядом с ручьями и реками. Ящерицы же лучше всего чувствуют себя в жаркой сухой среде,их часто можно встретить,греющимся на солнце. Ящерицы способны приспособиться к намного более суровым внешним условиям,чем саламандры. И саламандры и ящерицы откладываю яйца.
