Аллопатрический тип видообразования возникает в результате географической изоляции, когда отдельные популяции разделены, реками, пустынями, морями, океанами и т.д., что затрудняет частый обмен генами между популяциями.

Симпатрический тип видообразования возникает в результате биологической изоляции, т.е. когда на одной территории имеются четко различающиеся формы особей. Происходит это различными путями:

1)      Возникновение новых видов при быстром изменении генотипа – это когда новые формы сразу оказываются генетически изолированными от родительского вида.

2)      Видообразование в результате экологического фактора: сезонная изоляция, изоляция, вызванная появлением особого появления у особей; изоляция из-за выработки иных пищеварительных ферментов.
