Серое вещество состоит из тел нейронов и их дендритов, распологается вокруг центрального канала, занимает всю центральную часть спинного мозга, тянется с верху донизу в виде серых столбов.
белое вещество: расположенно в наружной части спинного мозга. содержит массу нервных волокон, связывающих нейроны спинного мозщгна между собой, а так же с нейронами головного мозга
